BEWARE of "fake" vacation home owners offering large NYC apartments -- such as four bedrooms and three bathrooms -- for ridiculously low prices. This scammer has been ripping off many people. DO NOT wire money to anyone. DO NOT send money through Western Union...especially if you are instructed to pay the balance to the doorman. Pay only with a credit card so that you can receive your money back if you fall victim to a scam.
