Welcome to the community and the vacation rental industry! I just want to remind you that you have entered an extremely competitive field. In theory it sounds simple making money with a vacation rental portal, however I can assure you that very few portal owners are making any money ...even the ones that seem to have thousands of "paid" listings (most portal owners add these for free to make their portal look bigger). Furthermore, most property owners have been spoiled and they all expect free listings, even when they receive bookings (this is after talking to several vacation rental portal owners).
It is quite easy these days to launch and maintain a vacation rental site. The difficulty comes in the promoting because it is expensive and complex.
1) By quickly browsing your site I have noticed that you can improve the URLs: For example, you can eliminte the folder with numbers such as '20' at: http://www.vacation-rental-wonderland.com/vacation-rentals/20/Hawaii/Ocean-View/
2) Also, don't understimate the value of a good host. Your site seems a bit slow and it will most likely crash with more users or members. And a slow server may also prevent Google from being able to crawl the deeper pages of your site.
Your site seems still under development, so it is a bit difficult analyzing it further.

Originally I was going to remove the "20", but then decided to keep it as another way for a user to go back one step, even though I have breadcrumb trails.
Yea, I need to change database servers. That one is almost maxed out... Mt web server is fine.
I agree is a highly competitive field. Mush more so then I thought when I initially wanted to get into it.
It's ok tho. This particular site is one of those labor of loves & I don' t mind if I lose money (and lots of time). :) Just not too much I hope!
