Revolutionary 420 meter skyscraper that moves. Sounds unrealistic? Well, it's about to be built in Dubai very soon.
The 80-story Dynamic Tower, described as the "world's first building in motion," will also be the first skyscraper constructed from prefabricated units, according to a press statement released by New York-based architect David Fisher's Dynamic Group.
This will be a shape-shifting skyscraper, with each floor capable of rotating independently.
Interested in buying a vacation home? Apartments will sell for about $3,000 per square foot, making each unit range in price from about $4 million to $40 million. Work on the tower is to be completed by 2010.
If they would allow vacation rentals (not likely!), the rental fees could range between $15,000/week and $150,000/week!

That's crazy! Dubai is really becoming an amazing destination for travel.
I was just reading an article about the Burj Al Arab Hotel - which is a Seven Star Hotel in Dubai. I didn't even know such a think existed. Again no vacation rentals though
There is a good article at Forbes Traveler about it: http://www.forbestraveler.com/resorts-hotels/dubai-seven-star-hotel-story.html

I was just talking yesterday with someone that knows Dubai very well. I was told that it becomes boring very fast. She said "Everything is Artificial in Dubai" and the "people are so snobby and have very little respect for others".
I'm curious to know what other people have experienced while staying in Dubai.
By the way, here is a video of the "Building in motion":http://www.vacationrentalscommunity.com/media/p/695.aspx
