I work for a website offering free trial subscriptions - http://www.alluradirect.com. We market properties but also provide Owners with reservation management tools. If you have or can get a Canadian bank account we can also offer credit card processing. Learn more here - http://www.alluradirect.com/vacation-rentals.cfm.
We have just been accepted on vacation-rental-fun. The site looks good and we wish them well. We are now going to look into the two other offers above!
We have just registered with vacationrentals.org as well! We like the look of your site and we are awaiting publication.
We looked at Allura also, but the tax warning on their site put us off! (You must pay 25% witholding tax if you don't live in Canada and then claim it back via Canadian tax return). Thanks for the offer, all the same.
Thanks for taking a look at alluraDirect.com. Just wanted to clarify on the tax obligations - 25% withholding tax only applies for owners of Canadian properties who reside outside of Canada. I can see your vacation home is located in France so this would not apply - plus at this time we cannot offer credit card processing to owners without Canadian bank accounts.
If you are interested in listing your property with us for free, please email ownerrelations@alluraDirect.com and we can provide further information.
Thanks very much for clarifying the position. Perhaps the wording was a little ambiguous or else I totally misread it. Will have another look at your site. Rather than spoil the thread for the person who started it, I suggest that any further discussion between us of your site be direct by e-mail.
