Some people are admittedly bargain hunters. No shame in it whatsoever. Even on vacation, they look for the cheapest airfair, cut restaurant coupons and search for the best accommodations. Well, if you are planning on a trip to Myrtle Beach, winter rates in Myrtle Beach are the best bargains for anybody searching for an oceanfront or ocean view condo.

Myrtle Beach, SC is a top tourist destination, and has been for a number of years - and there's a good reason for it. It's not just the sand under your feet and the warmth of the ocean water. The city is packed with things to do, no matter if you are here for a winter rental or in the summer.  And for those looking to get away for a month during the off-season save hundreds of dollars in doing so.

Snowbirds, is what we call them. Myrtle Beach snowbirds are the ones who fly south for the winter in search of a great deal and to head to warmer climates.  The snowbirds know how to find a great deal! Myrtle Beach weather is quite mild during the winter, with temperatures averaging 60-degrees during the winter.  Even right now, as I am typing this blog in mid-October, I come to work wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and I would love nothing more than to talk a nice mid-day walk on of the many outdoor attractions here in Myrtle Beach, whether it be Broadway at the Beach or Alligator Adventure. Once the temperatures get lower though, many will still think its a bit too chilly to be hanging out outside. But I bet you it's still warmer than New Jersey!

So how much CAN you save by taking advantage of these winter rentals in Myrtle Beach? Well, some oceanfront condos are as low as $250 for a week. That's a bit over $35 a night! You can't even get a hotel room for that price. Plus you will have a view of the ocean, nice amenities that condos offer, and any other perks that the rental management company throws your way.

You can even plan a large family trip in the winter and save a good chunk of change. Although not as popular, beach houses in Myrtle Beach are also quite cheaper during the off-season. You can rent a beach home for 10 - 15 people for about $110 per person for a week. It would be your own private rental as well, with your own driveway and usually a private pool!

No matter what your preference, many snowbirds come back year after year to stay the same condo building, many times, the same unit, just because it feels like a second home to them. They spend their retirement living it up in their Myrtle Beach winter condo rental. Take a look at the great winter rates in Myrtle Beach and maybe we will see you next year!
